Zundert, the birthplace of Van Gogh, celebrates massive floral parade

The Dutch village of Zundert, where artist Vincent van Gogh was born, recently held its 80th annual flower parade, recognized as the biggest of its kind globally. The celebration included 20 local groups that dedicated months of work to building massive floats decorated with flowers. These structures, which can measure up to 19 metres in length and 9 metres in height, are moved manually rather than by engines. In total, approximately 8 million dahlias were utilized for the displays.
