Yamuna O-zone rules may be updated following NGT's final boundary mapping
The recently released Master Plan for Delhi-2047 (MPD-2047) may see adjustments regarding its Yamuna O-zone policies. This area serves as a protected floodplain for the river, with strict limitations on building activity. Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar indicated that these regulations could be modified after the National Green Tribunal (NGT) completes the official demarcation of the river's floodplain.
