Woman survives dramatic 11th-floor leap during Berlin apartment fire
A woman who was stuck on the 11th floor of a burning apartment complex in Berlin managed a risky escape by leaping toward a rescue basket. She fell roughly two stories before a firefighter successfully caught her. The fire, which broke out on August 14, left 13 individuals injured. It took a team of 116 firefighters three hours to bring the flames under control. The woman sustained only minor injuries.
