Woman, 63, able to eat again following complex cancer surgery
A 63-year-old patient who previously received treatment for uterine cancer dropped more than 20 kg because radiation therapy harmed her intestines, leading to intense pain and frequent vomiting. Surgeons performed an eight-hour procedure to excise the affected portion of the bowel. The patient is now capable of consuming solid foods pain-free and is making a steady recovery, while continuing to receive nutritional support to help her regain her health.
