West Bengal libraries to drop books authored by Mamata Banerjee
The BJP administration in West Bengal has opted to pull books penned by former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from public libraries across the state. These titles were previously required reading in all state-run public and government school libraries. Minister Gouri Shankar Ghosh stated, "There was a kind of dictatorship... books by the former CM that do not add value to a student's education will be taken out."
