Violence erupts at Morocco-Spain border as migrants set vehicles on fire
A group of migrants at the Moroccan border set fire to a bus and multiple other vehicles during a confrontation with local security forces while trying to enter the Spanish territory of Ceuta. In response, Moroccan officials used water cannons and increased their security presence at the Fnideq crossing to prevent the crowd from advancing. On the other side, Spain dispatched military and police units to Ceuta, where officials confirmed that nine individuals lost their lives amid the unrest.
