Fugitive entrepreneur Vijay Mallya has responded to the NCLT's decision to accept Subhash Chandra's proposal to pay ₹6.5 crore to resolve creditor claims totaling roughly ₹22,006.57 crore. Mallya stated, "Banks and Government have...recovered ₹14,100 crore from me against a judgement debt of ₹6,203 crore." He further remarked, "Many more borrowers have settled at a fraction.
