Veg thali cost hits highest level in over a year in August
According to Crisil Intelligence, the expense of preparing a vegetarian thali at home reached its highest point in over a year in August, climbing to ₹29.5 from ₹29.1 in July. This upward trend was fueled by the increasing prices of onions, cooking oil, and LPG. Meanwhile, the cost of a non-vegetarian thali went up by 5% year-on-year, reaching ₹57.5 in August.
