Varanasi: BHU hospital flooded, patients carried through waist-high water
Following 15 hours of continuous rainfall, floodwater inundated the Sir Sunderlal Hospital located at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi. Individuals were observed wading through waist-deep water while carrying patients on their shoulders. Due to the severe waterlogging within the facility, many visitors were forced to leave without receiving medical care. The walkways connecting the hospital's OPD section to the diagnostic counters were completely submerged.
