At just 15 years old, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has etched his name in the record books as the youngest player to hit a fifty in the Duleep Trophy, achieving the feat during the semi-final clash between East Zone and Central Zone. He surpassed the previous record set by Laxman Singh, who reached the milestone at 16 years and 23 days old. Sooryavanshi was eventually dismissed for 92 runs off 81 deliveries, an aggressive knock that included seven boundaries and seven sixes.
