On July 17, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami introduced the 'Agniveer Employment Cell.' This makes Uttarakhand the first state in the country to set up a specialized system for the resettlement and job placement of Agniveers after their service. The initiative, designed by gallantry award winner Colonel (Retd) Ajay Kothiyal, aims to help Agniveers find new career opportunities and ensure they have a seamless transition into civilian life.
