Uttarakhand: 5 dead as vehicle plunges into gorge in Devprayag
A minimum of five individuals lost their lives when their car tumbled into a deep ravine close to Sabdarkhal on the Devprayag-Pauri highway in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Upon hearing about the crash, nearby residents arrived at the scene and notified the authorities. Personnel from the police and the State Disaster Response Force managed a difficult 200-meter descent to recover the five bodies and successfully rescue a child who had been injured.
