Uttar Pradesh has become mafia-free and a hub for investment since 2017: CM Yogi Adityanath
While speaking at the UP Textile Conclave-2026 in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the state has moved past the 'one district, one mafia' phase and established the rule of law since 2017. He noted that Uttar Pradesh has secured investment proposals worth ₹50 lakh crore, supports 96 lakh MSMEs, and has seen the number of factories rise from 14,000 to 35,000. During the event, he also introduced the UP Tex Mitra portal along with new welfare programs for weavers.
