US remains top source for over half of India's LPG imports, data shows
According to the intelligence agency Kpler, the United States continues to provide more than 50% of India's total LPG imports, even as supplies from the Gulf region have increased. This trend persists despite a 25.8% decline in US LPG shipments to India, which dropped to 724,150 tonnes during August. Meanwhile, India's reliance on Gulf imports grew to 29.7% in August, up from 16.4% in July, with the UAE contributing 198,860 tonnes to the total.
