US refuelling planes depart Bulgaria amid Iranian threats against European bases
Following reports that Iran might target American military installations in Europe should President Donald Trump intensify the conflict, two US Air Force KC-135 refuelling jets have exited Bulgaria. The US Air Force stated the planes were relocated to address "other operational requirements." Previously, Iran had condemned the arrival of these aircraft in July, accusing Bulgaria of participating in "aggression and war crimes."
