US recruits over 2,000 gamers for air traffic control roles with ₹1.4 crore salary

US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has successfully brought on board more than 2,000 video game players to serve as air traffic controllers. Back in April, the FAA started an initiative to attract gamers to these positions, promising an average annual pay of $155,000 (roughly ₹1.4 crore) once they reach the three-year mark. According to Duffy, the organization has currently met 94% of its recruitment goal.
