US imposes sanctions on Turkish bank over Iran oil revenue links
The US Treasury Department has placed sanctions on Turkey’s Golden Global Investment Bank along with two of its branches as part of 'Operation Economic Outcast.' Authorities claim the bank helped move tens of millions of dollars for Iran’s IRGC-Qods Force. Additionally, the bank is accused of assisting in the movement of Iranian oil profits from China to Turkey, where the assets were then turned into gold and cash.
