US conducts major strikes on Iran following Strait of Hormuz vessel attacks
On Wednesday, the United States carried out several "powerful" military operations against Iran, alleging that Tehran was responsible for targeting three merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz. According to reports from Iranian state media, the strikes impacted Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, and Sirik, resulting in injuries caused by shrapnel. The reports also noted that seven distinct blasts were reported in the Iranian city of Sirik.
