US authorities release Indian-born musician Pritesh after two-week detention
Pritesh Walia, a jazz musician of Indian descent, was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The New Delhi native was freed on bond this Sunday following a 14-day stint in custody. In an Instagram video, Pritesh reflected on the experience, stating, "When you're sitting in a detention facility...It's very easy to lose hope, and I lost hope all the time."
