UPI hits record high with 23.66 billion transactions in July
The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) reached its peak monthly transaction count in July, based on recent figures from the NPCI. Compared to the same period last year, the volume of transactions climbed by 22% to reach 23.66 billion, and the total value grew by 19% to hit ₹29.88 lakh crore. Previously, the transaction value reached a high of ₹29.90 lakh crore in May, followed by a slight decline to ₹28.92 lakh crore in June.
