UP: Former transport official's home raided, assets worth ₹35 crore seized
Authorities have confiscated jewellery valued at ₹20 crore, consisting of 13 kg of gold and 9 kg of silver, along with property deeds worth ₹13 crore from the Lucknow house of Lalit Kumar, a former Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO). Additionally, officials recovered ₹1.62 crore in cash during the operation conducted on July 7 and 8. The combined value of the seized items reached approximately ₹35 crore.
