UP Deputy CM on Ram Van Gaman Path cracks: 'If it's built, it will sink'
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya commented, "Sadak banegi to dhasegi, dhasegi to banegi" (If a road is built, it will sink; if it sinks, it will be rebuilt). He made this statement when questioned about footage showing the Ram Van Gaman Path caving in. The recently completed road, which cost ₹4,400 crore, has already developed cracks and subsided in multiple locations throughout Prayagraj.
