UP court mandates removal of unauthorized mosque in Saharanpur DM complex, levies ₹6.4 crore penalty
A city magistrate court in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has directed the demolition of an unauthorized mosque situated inside the District Magistrate's office compound. The court also slapped a penalty of ₹6.4 crore on the illegal occupants for holding the land for seven decades. According to the court, the structure was built unlawfully on a 315-square-meter plot of government land.
