UP: 4 held for murdering brother-in-law following ₹48 lakh property dispute
On Saturday, police in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, took a man and three of his associates into custody for the murder of his brother-in-law. Authorities stated that the group killed Mohd Shakib because they were worried his sister would be excluded from the proceeds of a ₹48 lakh land transaction, especially after Shakib named his cousin as the bank nominee. The suspects reportedly strangled Shakib before disposing of his body in a nearby pond.
