UK labels Iran's Revolutionary Guards a terrorist group
The British government has officially classified Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity. Under this new designation, being a member of the organization, participating in its gatherings, or displaying its emblem in public will be considered a criminal act. Formed following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the IRGC has functioned as an elite military unit dedicated to Iran's Supreme Leader.
