UK-based Kashmiris protest against Pakistan, demand freedom
A large crowd of Kashmiris residing in the UK joined the London Kashmir Million March to voice their opposition to reported human rights abuses in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The protesters marched from Parliament Square toward the Pakistani High Commission, calling for the immediate release of jailed political figures, such as Shaukat Nawaz Mir, who leads the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC).
