Two caught painting Sonam Wangchuk's mural on public wall in Assam
In Assam's Guwahati, two individuals have been detained for "defacing public property" after they painted a mural of activist Sonam Wangchuk on public walls. According to an official, the police are also working to find others who painted a mural of Wangchuk on a pillar two days prior. The duo was caught by a patrolling police team and subsequently confessed to painting Wangchuk's portrait.
