Navi Mumbai Police have dismantled a recruitment fraud and taken two individuals into custody for swindling 17 job applicants out of ₹41.75 lakh. The suspects reportedly promised the victims employment on international merchant vessels. According to authorities, the pair ran a fake firm and lied about having a legitimate RPSL registration from the Director General of Shipping to entice candidates with offers of lucrative maritime positions.
