Kerala police apprehended Naushad Khan and Mahin Kannu in Kazhakkoottam after finding them with six kilograms of ganja. The suspects had allegedly sourced the drugs from Andhra Pradesh to sell to students during the Onam festival. To avoid detection, the pair switched their clothes and vehicles multiple times before hiring a taxi from Ernakulam. The DANSAF unit caught them as part of Operation Thoofan. Authorities noted that both individuals have a history of involvement in drug-related offenses.
