Tukaram Mundhe shuts down Siya Goyal's family store, confiscates ₹8 lakh in goods
The Maharashtra FDA, under the leadership of Tukaram Mundhe, has directed the shutdown of M/s BG Goyal & Company. This spice and dry fruit business is owned by Pravin Goyal, the father of Siya Goyal, who is an accused in a Pune fort murder case. Officials stated the shop was running without the necessary license and was stocking items that were substandard, improperly labeled, or potentially adulterated. In total, authorities confiscated 4,172 kg of merchandise valued at ₹8.14 lakh.
