Trump held talks with Pakistan's Army Chief before his Iran trip: Report
According to a CNN report, US President Donald Trump had a conversation with Pakistan's Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces, Asim Munir, last week, just before Munir's Monday visit to Tehran, Iran. A source from Pakistan informed Reuters that Trump requested Munir to urge Iran to restart discussions with the United States. The report further noted that the communication was started by Trump.
