Trump administration initiates campaign to dissolve International Criminal Court
The administration of US President Donald Trump is beginning a diplomatic push to take apart the International Criminal Court, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio labeled the institution a danger to American sovereignty, stating, "Working beside every ally...we will dismantle the ICC, brick by brick, if necessary." The United States has previously imposed sanctions on ICC personnel as well as human rights organizations that have supplied the court with evidence.
