Tourist guide murdered near Amer Fort in Jaipur; locals protest by closing shops
Manish Soni, a 40-year-old tourist guide, was fatally stabbed following an argument with a local jeep operator named Azam close to Jaipur's Amer Fort. The conflict arose when Soni provided directions to a group of tourists, which angered Azam and his accomplice, who claimed that private vehicles were not allowed to reach the fort. In response to the killing, area residents and business owners closed the local market to demand immediate legal action.
