Terrorist assault near Afghan border leaves 10 Pakistani police dead
On Wednesday, Islamist militants targeted a police station close to the Afghan border in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 officers and injuring several others. Pakistan has experienced an increase in militant attacks lately and has alleged that the Taliban administration in Afghanistan is providing shelter to extremist organizations, including the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. So far, no organization has taken credit for the attack.
