Telegram boss Pavel Durov ridicules Russia's 'terrorist' label
Telegram founder Pavel Durov has responded to accusations from Russia claiming he supported terrorism. Durov stated, "Russia has labeled me a 'terrorist' because I would not comply with their requests for mass surveillance and censorship on Telegram." He poked fun at the Russian government, adding, "According to Russian law, I am prohibited from 'publishing information on the internet.' It is clear that Russian officials are confused regarding who has the power to ban whom from the web."
