Tehseen Poonawalla, who claims he is being held under illegal house arrest, stated that female police officers have been posted outside his residence. Sharing photos of two policewomen, he remarked, "So if I try to escape & there is pushing, I will have severe offences put upon me." Poonawalla had intended to conduct a solo march and a hunger strike to protest against E20 petrol.
