Tehelka's Tarun Tejpal moves Supreme Court against rape conviction
Tarun Tejpal, the founder of Tehelka, has moved the Supreme Court to contest the Bombay High Court's decision convicting him of rape and sentencing him to 10 years in prison. According to officials, Tejpal has also contested the 10-year prison sentence. He was found guilty of assaulting a former junior colleague in a five-star hotel's elevator during an event in Goa in 2013.
