Tech startups lower IPO price targets amid investor hesitation

A number of modern tech companies are scaling back their IPO valuations and issue sizes due to growing investor wariness regarding the pricing of high-growth businesses. Zepto slashed its valuation goal by half to roughly $2.5 billion and trimmed its IPO scale before eventually putting its listing plans on hold, while PhonePe also looked into a reduced valuation. Other companies that went public this year, including Amagi, Fractal Analytics, and Turtlemint, have also agreed to lower valuations.
