Tata Sons annual meeting likely delayed due to regulatory issues
According to a PTI report, the Tata Sons Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for August 18 might be postponed. This follows the inability of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust to appoint a representative, a move currently blocked by restrictions from the Maharashtra Charity Commissioner. The meeting was intended to address the directorship of Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, who is not pursuing a new term following February. The trust currently maintains a 23.56% ownership stake in the company.
