Tata Motors sees 27% rise in Q1 commercial vehicle sales; EV volume jumps 4.4 times
Tata Motors announced a 27% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle sales, reaching 1,08,488 units for the first quarter of FY27. For June 2026 specifically, sales climbed by 35% to hit 40,805 units. The company saw a 26% rise in domestic commercial vehicle sales, while international business expanded by 35%. Additionally, electric vehicle volumes experienced a 4.4-fold increase compared to the previous year. Gains were observed throughout the HCV, ILMCV, passenger carrier, and SCV categories.
