Taliban denies Pakistan's claim of Masood Azhar being in Afghanistan
The Taliban administration in Afghanistan has dismissed assertions from Pakistan that Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar is based within their borders. A high-ranking official reaffirmed the government's stance that Afghan territory will not be permitted for use in hostile actions against any nation. Azhar remains a wanted figure in India for his alleged involvement in various significant terror incidents, such as the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai strikes.
