Supreme Court turns down MP minister's apology for 'terrorist sister' comment on Col Sofiya
The Supreme Court has once again refused to accept Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah's apology regarding the offensive comments he made about Army Colonel Sofiya Qureshi during last year's Operation Sindoor. The bench stated that the Governor should be the one to determine whether prosecution sanction is granted against Shah for the remarks, in which he labeled Qureshi the "sister of terrorists."
