Supreme Court stays Allahabad HC proceedings against Rahul Gandhi in assets case
In a major relief for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Supreme Court on Monday ordered the Allahabad High Court to halt proceedings in a case involving allegations of disproportionate assets against him. The top court also instructed the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate to refrain from filing any investigation reports with any authority, including the High Court. Furthermore, the Supreme Court directed the High Court to postpone its scheduled hearing for August 20.
