Supreme Court orders Tarun Tejpal to surrender within two weeks in rape case
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court instructed former Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal to turn himself in over the next 14 days following his conviction in a rape case by the Goa bench of the Bombay High Court. The 63-year-old Tejpal had appealed the High Court's decision, which had reversed his 2021 acquittal. The case stems from the 2013 sexual assault of a junior colleague in Goa during the Tehelka THiNK conference.
