Supreme Court orders MEA to locate Indian sailors missing after Ukraine strike
The Supreme Court has instructed the Ministry of External Affairs, along with Indian embassies in Ukraine and Romania, to track down Indian crew members who went missing following a drone strike near Ukraine on July 25. The court stated, "We expect immediate steps...to gather information about the whereabouts...We also direct MEA to use their diplomatic channels." Reports indicate that two of the sailors leaped into the sea to flee the blaze.
