Supreme Court directs government to locate captain missing since Hormuz incident
The Supreme Court has directed the Centre to determine the status of Captain Ashish Kumar, who disappeared following an attack on his vessel in the Strait of Hormuz this past March. Although authorities initially assumed Kumar had died after discovering remains inside his cabin, subsequent DNA analysis confirmed the remains did not belong to him. His wife approached the Supreme Court, alleging that the investigation into his disappearance has been inadequate.
