Sukhbir Singh Badal targeted in second attack within two years
SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has survived a second attack in under two years after a Nihang Sikh allegedly targeted him with a kirpan close to a Gurdwara in Nanded, Maharashtra. Earlier, in December 2024, a former militant shot at Badal outside the Golden Temple in Amritsar, but the bullet missed him. The assailant in that incident was released on bail in March 2025.
