Sukhbir Singh Badal assaulted by Nihang outside Nanded gurdwara
On Thursday, Shiromani Akali Dal leader and ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Sukhbir Singh Badal, faced an attack by a Nihang close to a gurdwara in Nanded, Maharashtra. Nanded Police confirmed that Badal sustained injuries to his hand and was immediately taken to a private medical facility for care. Reports also indicate that a police officer was hurt during the incident.
