Actor Sudesh Berry shared that he was initially selected for the part eventually played by Shah Rukh Khan in the film 'Darr', with his outfits already prepared. Ultimately, Yash Chopra decided to remove him and cast Shah Rukh instead. Berry explained, "Towards the end, there is a scene where my character throws a punch. Whoever was on the receiving end, it looked as if a major star was being hit by Sudesh."
