Study: Over one-third of Delhi-NCR structures at risk in earthquake

According to a report by India Today, research indicates that nearly 38% of the 8.9 million buildings evaluated in the Delhi-NCR region might sustain damage during a moderate earthquake occurring along two primary active fault lines. This figure accounts for more than 33 lakh structures. The study, published by Springer Nature, analyzed seismic dangers associated with the Delhi–Sargodha Ridge and Mahendragarh–Dehradun faults.
